Nice find. Jeepers - in all my time there I have never seen someone go right or on a foil!!
Shame he did not take on the Valley and try a run through to Whale - he would have easily made it across on that weapon! One would imagine he will show up at Shippies in a few days time for some even longer rides.

I'd prefer to hit by a SUp then that thing

I've towed a chair version and its amazing at best, surfing one well thats another thing altogether.

Shame about the bushes in shot though

Foilboards are a pretty wild to ride once you break through the initial bobbing up and down stage and you find your balance. After a while of riding you can understand how the board reacts and responds to your movements. Laird makes it look so easy.

I've kited on one about 10 times and am not completly all over it. If I get a run of a few hundred metres of silent smooth foiling, you seem to shift into sync with the board after that. Gusts of wind and high chop dont help to stay smooth.

Any kiters in Brissy want to try my foil when the wind is back, PM me.
