Hi everyone.

Hoping to get some info on where to get Sup blanks from. I want to make a downwinder.

You can't really get proper blanks, but you can get EPS foam from Foamex. They have
offices in both Melbourne and Sydney. Not sure about the other states.

+1 - there's one other place in Sydney that sells foam blocks I've got it at home. Depending on size and location you could try the guys a Shapers in Qld, I think they get their standard EPS in larger blocks or some one that makes prone paddle boards as there EPS (Bennett, deep) they might be able to help you.

Do the eps foam boards need a stringer over say 14ft or is the eps ridged enough already? I live in tas and should be able to get the products Foamex supply

He's made 14, 16 and even 20' boards this way and it works.. I have one and it's still perfect.

It sure beats buying a blank at least a foot thick and having to hot knife the rocker into it and wasting heaps.

use m grade or h grade if you want super lite use sl grade ,,,, l grade is crap to soft i can cut up to 2.5 long up to 1200mm wide using computer cut hot wire but can cut in two sections and glue the nose on with exspander foam quick cure any rocker shape out line is possible
what is the price of blanks? for sup
