Just joking but I thought that might get a few of your attention :)

After years of getting burnt by her I thought I would throw her on the front for a few fun ones.

I can hear you all groaning "but she's a goofy foot for Christs sake!!!" but hey nobody's perfect. I'm just hoping the deaded curse is not hereditary for the kid's sake.

Cheers, Herb

Great video. Great smiles. I like the look of the Lahui Kai as well. (Maybe you should try it with two paddles )

Thanks for posting.

Hey Herb, I've been enjoying your videos lately as I'm very close to buying a manta myself. I was just wondering if your board is one of the normal production ones (i.e. 28" wide) or if you have a custom thinner model. Also, what kind of fin do you use? Cheers

Hi all

Glad a few of you enjoyed it.

GusD, that board is a custom 26' wide which is the same as what you can order through Mick DiBetta here on the Gold Coast. If I was you I would also be having a close look at the new LK production boards that have just landed in Oz over the last couple of weeks. They have Brian Symmnaski (ex Starboard) on their team designing new boards with Mick. The new productions are the same boards that went really well at the BOP a couple of months back and they have really ramped the quality of construction on par with anything else you can by from the other top brands. Pretty sure there are a couple of shops around Sydney that have a few demos and are stocking them as well.

Cheers, Lockie

Very nice work Herb - that video has fun written all over it!
There are still a few of the 12'6x 27" production Manta's hanging around Balmoral Paddlesurf at a good price.
And yes there is a also a range of the new Lahui Kai Brian Szymanski carbon boards available in demo - 14' x 27.25 and 12'6 x 26 and 12'6 x 27.75
