Does anybody have a recommendation for a board bag to protect my custom 14' race board? I am looking for something that can accommodate the depth of a "dug-out" and the padding to prevent damage from tie-downs etc. Have looked at FCS online but they seem expensive and many sites do not ship to NZ. Appreciate your suggestions.

Flying Objects bags will do it, good design, well padded, fit dug-out type boards. Full length plastic zip and good handles each end. Even have tensioning straps all round to take up the slack material. Any Starboard dealer can source them.
Or get in touch with the Auswind guys directly

The Naish board cover for the 14' is a pretty huge bag made for the 14'x30" Glide. It just swallows my old 14'x27" and I noticed it has really deep sides in the cover. It doesn't have any real padding, but will keep the marks off.

I was also told that the Pro-Limit EVO sup bag is a pretty generous sizing but haven't looked at one.

How wide is your 14'?
Nothing more annoying than on oversized bag flopping everywhere when carrying or transporting.
I have a flying objects bag which I use for my 27.25" and 24.75" falcons. It fits the big bulbous nose every well but is way too loose in the tail. It is a great bag though and it does offer good protection to the precious cargo.
The other option is to get a custom bag made these usually cost about the same as a production bag

We have ION core bags that are a good deal thicker than most and have extra carry handle on the side of the bag as well as the top of the bag - fits the falcon 14 x27 with heaps of room to spare ....

Excellent feedback - really appreciate all the suggestions and am going to check them out. My board is 25" wide so I don't want it flapping on the roof of my car. Need some padding as I got a ding from a stone flicking off the road by a car in front of me. Cheers. G
