Does anyone know where to get board covers for SUP's.
In particular my 10'6 psh and 14 DC. Even a sock cover for travelling and a bit of protection.
Or where to purchase the sock material to make one.

Cheers

surfaids at byron do socks, you can find them on the net, they could do bags as well, my board came of the roof at about 80ks in a sock and all that happened was a chip to one of the fins.

I got a board cover with my Corbean, which is pretty good quality, I think Naish boards come with them also??

It's a little odd that you don't get them, or can't purchase them as an extra, for PSH boards - makes sense for them to come out with this little extra.

What's the story Blaine?

Those free board covers that come with your new stick are crap imo,I'd rather the board come without a so called free cover and buy an O&E or something of the same quality.
Cheaper new board and the retailer can /could do a deal on the extras.

eBay has some cheap stuff but I got my cover from the O&E factory outlet in Sussex inlet, NSW for $170 during one of their regular sales (RRP $250). Pretty happy with it so far - it's already saved countless dings.

Some info if you go for an O&E cover:
They have a range of covers in 1' increments.
I have a 10'6" PSH WAA and it fits perfectly in the 10' cover - 11' cover is way too big.
You can choose from lightweight 5mm or heavier 10mm thickness (same price from memory).
Any stores in NSW should have the range in the current catalogue.

some of the brands are using board covers as part or their packaging to protect them.

i think its good idea and envo friendly rather then plastic and card board waste
