Just picked a 2013 fanatic falcon 14 x 25 and are looking at getting a cover for it. What are people using? I hate covers that are to big for the board and are looking for one with a good fit.

Nothing out there specifically at the moment I'm pretty sure. I know Sam at windsurfandsnow was looking at options for custom bags for the new 14 x 24.75". A custom may be the way to go. Perhaps ask Balin?

i have a FCS cover on my 14'x27 falcon its great.
it has pulldowns on the side to nip up the slack, i think the 25" mite push it for a tight fit.

Does anyone make an oversized bag (eg. for longboards) that would take a 9'2" and 8'10" x 31 in the same bag like they do with shorty's? I was thinking of bubble wrapping them as well.

I recently bought a new 10' Naish board bag that fits my 32" wide 9'5" Mana.

At the risk of you and I getting ten thousand red thumbs, where is it? Maybe you better PM me as we would'nt want others to find out information on an ostensibly free, moderated forum about a company that might not advertise on the site. I certainly don't want to arouse the pimping police ire. . We all know Laurie doesn't do his job properly!!(Irony Laurie, I'm sure you understand it but know others don't!!) Sorry.. I must have miss read your question with one eye on the telly watching Bathurst..

Balin are in the Rosebud area.. Was that your question?

Give them a call or pop in with your two boards that you want to fit into one bag.

They trimmed down the nose on my 10' bag to fit my 9'5" perfectly..

Thanks people. Yea have tried a general Balin 14 foot bag but it is way to big. Might send off an email to them as I sure they can sort something out.

Here is a bit of a different view, I have many traditional board covers and all have their issues eg the Naish Hokua with aggressive nose rocker causes the nose tip of the board to wear excessively due to pushing the board into the bag.

I was given a cheap soft Cover which gets the down look by most but value for money for general every day use it is by far better. No wear on the board, sand no issue etc

Plus you can put your hand in the board handle to easily carry the board.

The Flying Objects 14 foot race board cover fits the 2014 14 foot x 24.75 but not the 14 x 27.25. The cover is tight at the nose but floppy at the tail.
Fanatic have a cover that fits also.

Oh well,
It must fit both then. I'll have to try my 27.25 in it as well.
