Hey all,
Creased my Southpoint Kalama pretty bad this morning and was up for some input on who could fix this on the Goldy. Am saving up for Chris Garrett to make me a more surfable board but keep getting set back (Broke my paddle a month ago and Angie and Paul at Roar kindly took $440 off of me. But with second to none service mind you.) I know Jack Knight repairs epoxy and Dale probably does as well but they aren't available on the phone's at the momment (Nor would I expect them to be). Any idea's of who might help me out on Tuesday???

Have the same boared and have done the same damage in the past. Both rails and across the bottom plus a full delamination on the bottom deck about half a metre back.

Got it fixed perfectly by Alex Baxter at Hayden Surf Craft. These guys are experts at this and I would challenge anyone to spot the repair. Board rides as well as ever as well.

Cost was $300

I know this is out of the way for you but it gives you a price point.

cheers
Swanie

Wow! Thanks for the great response guys. Think I will try Polzy by the sound of things but good to know I've got options. Thanks for the PM too Jacko, may take you up on that if I can get down that way.

Thanks Teatree,
Sounds like my crease as the rails are crushed in on themselves. Not overly worried about the strength as I really only want to surf it in small full waves and flat water once I can afford a smaller board. Nice to know that Polsy won't dip into my new board fund too much as well.
Cheers everyone

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input with this and to say that Polsy does an amazing job. Not only did he fix the board quickly (you should see how busy this guy is) but the job is A1. He even sprayed the yellow to white fade spray on the bottom and it only cost me $160.00. Only problem is he's a good looking fella so don't make the same mistake as me and get your wife to drop off the board as you'll never hear the end of it. Still, completely recommended for all your Gold Coast ding repairs.
Cheers
