Funny Logman, I was thinking that myself. I used to know him in the early 90s when he made the Shane waveskis. Haven't seen him on here for yonks.

Just spoke to Rod last night, hope he doesn't mind me saying this. He has had some problems with nerve/tendon damage and arthritis in his right arm which is really aggravated (and probably originally caused) by using power tools. He is slowly working through the back orders trying to balance resting his arm with getting through things.
I'm very confident he will honour all the current orders, just going to take a bit longer than he thought.

I agree log man, I did actually suggest that to him. I think he has been down that track before and isn't too keen to go the employee gig.
The guy has so much knowledge and experience, pity if he feels useless just because he can't hold a plane or sander for long.
Anyone local go in and do a bit of sanding for him - I'm even thinking of going up for a few days to give him a hand.
