I had my first paddle in eight weeks on Saturday.
Was laid up with pnuemonia and then a long recovery. So I hit the flatwater at Noosa on Saturday and again on Sunday. I only did about 5k's each time at a steady pace but GOD it felt cgood.
In my opinion the combination of being on the water, getting some exercise, cruisng along and enjoying nature just has to be one of the best feelings around.
Now to build up my fitness again and wait for my new Glide to arrive before I hit the ocean for some long paddles.
You raelly appreciate what we do when you can't do it for a while.
