Sounds good but would like to know what distances are the races and what format?

Would like to paddle, but it seems entries have already closed as form indicates 7 days prior entry required. Will this be relaxed to allow late entries?

You can still send the entries in. We have extended the entries till Wednesday night. As for distance it will all depend on how many entries and at what level people are. We want to include as many people as we can so everyone can have fun.

format- battle of the paddle

Don't say "battle of the paddle".

Jokes aside, and this is a boring old topic, but the name battle of the paddle or BOP seems to be synonymous with just one aspect of the Rainbow Sandals events. I guess everyone assumes that a BOP style race is the Elite Race 12'6" format at Battle of the Paddle events, as opposed to the distance, open and unlimited races that also take place at those events in Cali and Hawaii. Although this Brisbane event includes 14' and unlimited classes so maybe they are following one of the other race formats held at Battle of the Paddle. I've got no horse in this race so not my concern I guess, just interested in how race formats are developing.
