Hey guys,
New to SUP, am one of those Canberra guys you see all alone in the middle of north broulee falling off left right and centre. Anyone else here commute from the ACT regularly?

yep a heap of us do most weeks, if you go to Facebook and hit the High Country SUP page or if you want to join the SUP club here go to the Capital SUP group and join up. We will usually post up our trips away. I was down there today and the rest of the crew will be there tomorrow.

The crew will either be a Broulee (nth or sth) or Moruya breakaway/rivermouth. The swell is supposed to increase a bit tonight (but I am not convinced). I got like 2 hours in at Nth and then another 2 at Sth. Most other places seemed to be wind affected.

Yep, we have a place at Barlings & are there most weekends.
I tend to stay away from Broulee if on the SUP due to the crowds. Funny place, even if you choose your own peak 500m from the nearest person that has been empty for hours, gauranteed someone else will paddle out directly where you are 5 mins later!
Theres PLENTY of other great SUP'able breaks in the area that surfers dont tend to frequent. Have fun.

Damo, are you part of one of the ACT clubs or just a bunch of mates that paddle?
Have been hitting up Broulee mainly because i dont know any other SUP friendly places where i wont get in the way of surfers or swimmers.
