Not that this should be a problem for you but it's a better idea not to park on the North side of the river as thieves run free.

The bar and reef on the other side can be heaven or hell depending on the day. Watch the Occumentary for a good idea how good it gets. Other than that it's just beachies until you get to Hastings in the North or Byron in the South.

surfed out Byron twice today and I would not recommend a sup out there at the moment, a couple were out thre this morning but they didnt get much

Around 100 guys from the pass down to Clarkes and all sorts of mayhem, epic waves but....way too many people

You could get away with it on the low tide by taking off on the bombies in the middle of the bay

Take your fanatic and paddle up the river to Mullum and back. Awesome paddle and about 10k each way. Or catch runners inside the bar on it.

could always be you in the moonlight on it. Invest in some lockable tie downs. About 80 bucks and will keep your gear safe. The pass could be a good option for a moonlight surf if the cloud buggers off and the moon can shine. Did it a couple off weeks ago and got some unbelievable rides with no crowds.
