Ever wondered how to keep up your paddling strength and technique when you can't get in the water? Well, look no further. With the SUP-o-matic 3000 you can simulate that long distance paddle while in the comfort of your own lounge room - day or night, rain, hail or shine. Enjoy your favourite SUPing videos or motivational music while you paddle. With the SUP-o-matic 3000 you'll never be caught out with unfavourable SUPing conditions again.

Here's how to build you own SUP-o-matic 3000:

Step 1
Rummage around under the house and find that old rowing machine that you bought a few years ago (and that you thought would be a great, fun way to get fit).

Step 2
Remove the seat, foot holders and rear stand.

Step 3
Go to the shed and find the handle of that old broken rake. Make sure the you remove the old broken rake bit.

Step 4
Obtain a cheap canoe paddle grip and attach it to one end of the old rake handle.

Step 5
Remove one of the end caps from the rowing handle on the machine.

Step 6
Insert the other end of the old rake handle into the newly created hole of rowing handle.

Step 7
Stand back and admire your workmanship.

Step 8
Set the tension control dial to the easiest level.

Step 9
Paddle off into the sunset on your new SUP-o-matic 3000.

Advanced model could have a physio wobble board mounted to enhance balance.

Have to agree with uk,

LOL - yeah I know. Well after being out of work since Christmas I finally landed a new contract which will keep me busy for the next four months. My surfing will suffer but my bank account (and therefore wife) will be pleased.

Nice idea. That'll probably be on the SUP-o-matic 4000.
