Ex Victorian short board champion, shaper and craftsman....purveyor of fine surf shapes of all sizes and persuasions....just not sixteen feet worth by the sounds of things.
Am picking up a new seven four next week and know for a fact he is well and truly under the hammer with pre Christmas orders because he not only pumps out his own shapes but is the profiler of choice for most of the major players on the East and West Coast.
Hey Magila....slightly out of left field....there is a bloke by the name of Dean Snow who lives just outside of Anglesea....used to post up here under the handle of LSD. He is something of a wizard with the styro epoxy shapes and makes some of the wildest and lightest boards around. As I recall he made a couple of ultra light behemoths in about the size range you are looking at. He may be able to help you or know someone who could....just a thought.

I bought a paddle off Dean years ago. To this day the lightest and strongest full stop end of story.
As I recall he used a hot wire to rough cut his blanks and then hand finished them. Crazy inventive with one of the most outrageously appointed toy sheds on the planet. Everything from touring boards to ocean going yachts.
Shame he doesn't post here anymore...he was one of the truly early innovators.
Used to have his phone number but wouldn't know where to start looking....in the middle of moving house!!
As I recall DJ bought a board off Dean back in the day and might be able to help you out with a contact number...otherwise look for Snow in the Anglesea area code...couldn't be too many of em!!
