What do people use to carry their cameras and food etc on long paddles? beltbag/ fanny packs, backpacks, strap it to the deck?

Many of us on the Gold Coast use backpacks for Long Distance paddles. They also carry about 2-3lt of fluids which is essential up here in QLD. There is generally enough space to also carry a medical kit, flares and other odds and ends.

hehehe..... you said bumbag..

Actually that's what I like to use best.. You just slide it around to the front to get stuff out and slide it back and you wouldn't know it's there.

I've got a picture somewhere of my bumbag but it's resting on my Naish board and next to my Kialoa paddle..
