We had about 30 people show up this morning, 12 keen early risers paddled down to Nth Shelly for a surf then back to the surf club for a coffee and a meeting.
SUP Central was decided on for the Club name. We are going to start off the Club with a weekend away followed by a Comp about 4weeks later.
Thanks to all who came along this morning it was great to get such a good turn
out, and thanks again for all your input.
I have just spoken to Harrington Holiday park, and they have a range of accom
available for the dates we discussed this morning in Sept (hold off from
booking just yet until you here back from me.!!!
I will try and get the committee together soon and discuss a format for the
weekend soon.

Thinking
Sat Morn- Social surfing.
Sat Lunch- kids, wife's,girlfriends paddle/racing on the lagoon.
Sat Arvo- Down wind run/race from Crowdy head back to Harrington (5 klms)
Sat Night - Massssive BBQ.
Sun Morn- Surfing contest.

Rod, better check with council that issue with fees because I've asked around and our Mal Club has to only do that when putting on BIG comps like the Magoo Charity Classic and the Central Coast Open. Under the impression we don't have to do all the fees/permissions for normal club days. Worth asking...

wow great stuff guys look forward to some interclub comps in the future against SPSC and great idea about the weekend away wish our club did that will be fun

Sounds great lets work towards it for next year March/ April give us here on the coast a chance to get a few comps under our belt. And a few more members..
