Check out this absolute beauty - made by a local guy Pete here in Melbourne.

Here's a few shots of the board. It's a standard 'cove and bead' Hollow Wooden Surfboard construction, made from Paulownia with Agave inserts at the nose and Western Red Cedar in the tail. Just on 10kg - so reasonably light which is good. 30inches across and nice chunky, but wedgy rails with plenty of bite all the way from the tail to halfway up the board. Double Concave between fins.

The two legrope plugs have Goretex at the bottom that 'breathe' the board and equalise the air pressure inside. I've put a couple of marine grade screw bungs in there as well in case I hole it on a reef.

The two outside fin boxes are FCS, but the centre one is the interesting one... a 'Bluelines' fin system which is keyless and you can move the fin about an inch and a half with your hand back and forth in the finbox. Great system.

The board is way better than I am at SUP! But I'm getting there. Surfed Jan Juc the other day -2-3 foot and got a few. Just hard to adjust to the balance factor and paddling into waves. But it absolutely flies down the line!

Not sure DJ, will try and find out but I know it took Pete about 2 and a half months to make.
