and they say Melbourne is the sporting capital of Australia

For me "sport" is something you do. Watching somebody else do stuff is not sport, it's spectating.
To warm to my topic

"sports" that involve tactics and rules and keeping score are wrong. All that stuff does is encourage cheating. Competitions are supposed to identify the person who is the best, and arguably, encourage the rest of the field to participate and raise their personal level.
Instead you get all these team sports where armies of tacticians work through the rules trying to find ways to bend them to their advantage. It is cheating pure and simple. It's a touch ironinc that Melbourne Storm is in trouble for cheating when they all cheat in different ways all the time (spear tackles, head high tackles, assaulting guys behind the play, faking injuries, etc etc)
They should all **** off and leave us alone to actually do stuff. Maybe lock them in prison with a bunch of exercise bikes to keep them amused.
I suppose they do us a small service and keep some people inside watching TV and drinking beer instead if cluttering up the beach and the surf.
