Our Kristi (Surfee Chick) has made it into the Naish news site.. For those who don't get the Naish SUP news here's what it said.

Young Water Woman to Watch: Kristiana Page

Kristiana Page from Ocean Grove Victoria, Australia is 14 years old and has been stand-up paddling since June 2008.

At the 29th Annual Mambo Classic event in NSW, she came in 3rd in the Open Women's Surfing category.

The Australian Naish Team awarded her an 8'0" Hokua Board for being the best up and coming talent at the event and she rides it daily.

"The 8'0" is much lighter and simple for me to carry to the water. It is really stable but turns so much faster and easier. When the guys in the line up are hooting when you catch a wave, you know you are ripping. Girls rule!" said Kristiana.

Kristiana will be competing in the Port Phillip Cup on January 26th in the relay race with Naish teamriders Matt Lumley and David John."

BTW.. Kristi and our team won the teams race at the Port Phillip Cup.

Yep, a fantastic talent, no doubt about that.
She did our women's clinic at the Port Phillip Cup and received some very positive feedback from all the ladies out on the water.

And was part of the winning 4 man/woman team sprint challenge.

Will be a star of the future!

Top stuff Kristi. Really well deserved.

But who was that 4th member of the winning relay team that didn't rate a mention from Naish? Possibly a Starboard alumni?

Go Kristi, well done!

I am trying to encourage my oldest daughter to get into it a bit more and hopefully get some girls heats happening at the comps.
