Check out my new cool Kialoa Methane paddle.. and this new can of hot chocolate that heats up by itself.. Amazing.

I've never seen them before and I don't know if any of you guys have but I'll be looking forward to a nice hot chocolate drink after our down-winder tomorrow.

Here's some pics.

I've heard that they get really hot and I don't know if these dots change colour.. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

They even have a plastic guard to stop you burning your lips on the hot can.

You just peal and press the bottom of the can here.

Shake and wait a few minutes.

There's another sticker that says Made in Malaysia.. I hope it tastes ok.

They only hold about as much as a small Red Bull drink or one of these new cool skinny Coke cans.

BTW.. How cool is that new paddle!..

Wonder how the can works??

Nice paddle. How you get away with it DJ anyone else would have the post shoved over to the slow gear forum never to be seen again

Question Lozza: if we have filters why do we need two forums?

I suspect there is just one person who has demanded the second forum and is wrecking the experience for everyone else.

PS. Nice paddle.

Like the look of both paddle and can. Let us know how each goes.
I've tried the coffee in a can before, and can only comment that it was hot, but was not coffee. Hot choc could be good though. Don't know how it works, guess it has some chemical reaction going on.
Some years ago I had a can od Japanese beer from a can that chilled itself when you opened it. Pretty good stuff.

Ah

The inner chamber holds the food or drink, and the outer chamber houses chemicals that undergo an exothermic reaction when combined.

An exothermic reaction is a chemical reaction that releases energy in the form of heat.

I bought a new wetty a few weeks back and it came with these two heat pads you stick in pockets near your kidneys...Its this gel stuff with a little silver disc in the middle. you just press the disc and the gel goes all creamy and gets quite hot.. stays warm for a few hours... Then you just pop it in boiling water and it resets the disc... PS how many bloody paddles you got DJ.. every time i come on here your showing off a new paddle..
