I have the board and thinking about getting the deck recessed , is this possible any shapers out their think its doable? , the board is 305 litres in volume which I rekon is to much , recessing the deck would also make it easier to handle.

I would totally agree after trying one myself, you may be able to get rid of a few of the fins at the same time. It would be well worth experimenting and shouldn't be a problem for most ding repair guys or board builders. I would mark the waterline with yourself on it and then recess down to within a inch or so of that.

Speak to Dale Chapman - he'd be the go to guy for advice and execution.
Post pictures if you do it, I'd be very curious - it's a Good idea!
