I have a great padded Naish travel bag for my 11'6" AST.

They are 12' long but the AST fits well and they have a great shoulder strap.

Here's a pic of my AST in it.. Any Naish dealer should sell them.

Not sure whether Robbo's referring to the Dangerous When Wet covers, but I got one for my 9'8". Seems to be excellent quality, more competitively-priced than the O & E's, FCS, etc, & has a tail zip rather than side zip (less zipper length to break!). He has an 11'2" bag which may fit an 11'6" sup. PM me for his email address.
Previously I had an O & E "coffin" 11'6" bag. Also good quality.

Which airline with that board? You made sure no issue with the size? Any extra charges?

Going to Indo on 12 Sept kiting and surfing and thinking of taking the 903 PSH Ripper-trouble is I have 2 surfboards a kite surfboard (and kites) and wanna take the SUB-a lot of gear-especially since we're going to go to an outer island too.

I just travelled with a borrowed 11'6 bag, but I think it belonged to one of those Starboard Start (Windsurfing) boards, as it was hell wide.

Once on the roof racks, it easily carried:
- 11'6 SUP
- Paddle
- 6'0 Surfboard (in it's own board bag)
- 138 Twintip (in it's own board bag)
- A Doona
- A Pillow
- A 7m Kite
.. and I reckon it easily could have carried my 12m & 9m kite without too much fuss.

Initially, the bag was a pain because of the flapping on the roof, but once we realised we could use all the space .. awesome!
