The forecast for Sunday is looking great, with light SE winds and small swell, should mean that everyone will be able to have a go.
So make a commitment now to do it and you could win this awesome prize!!!

We can put you a little way down the handicap start list, give you an extra few minutes to arrive. Remember it's your adjusted time not the place over the finish line that counts!

Well done Jonesy!
I made it $35 for Uni plebs like Ryno. But after he won the $150 at Noosa two weeks ago, I should have upped it!

You'll have plenty of time to get down mate. Race is scheduled to start at 10:30am but may hold it off 30 minutes for the dropping tide to slow up a bit.

But you'll be down the list a bit anyway Jonesy.

See you on Sunday!

This is going to be one fun race!
Conditions are lining up well for small swell and a little bit of wind to help us out!
Keep the entries coming in, you might have missed out on the 'early entry' draw for the esky if you missed the midnight cutoff yesterday, but there's loads of other prizes coming in from the race sponsors for division winners and random draws, so everyone's in with a chance.
And with 18 race divisions in total, there is a class for EVERYONE!!!

Well done Flaker.....like you, there are many that have entered with this being their first race. Conditions look great with a small swell and light down wind breeze. This race is definitely friendly to all abilties of paddler.

As I look through the starting line up, its great to see a heap of the Elite Class guys and girls but more importantly, a whole lot of first timers!

Good luck mate!

Hi Sunny,

PFD's are not compulsory but recommended if you wish to wear one for this event. Although we are seriously looking at making them part of the competitors attire for future races. As a club, SUPSA is working with an external vest manufacturer and will be testing and experimenting when they become available.
We certainly support the use of the PFD and will be recommending them to be used in future SUPSA races.
Every competitor have been advised that legropes will be compulsory for this race.
Those competitors wishing to wear a PFD may do so.
I guess we have great conditions for paddlers of all abilities on our side this Sunday, which is why we have over 60 competitors registered all ready.
Thanks for your question Sunny. We welcome all feedback as this is a great base to further the SUP sport!
Cheers
