All,

Well its been many months in the planning/training but all things being equal next week ill tackle the English Channel ( UK to France ) on a 14ft Fanatic Carbon SUP. I have a pilot boat booked to make sure I dont get killed by an oil tanker and keep to the required maritime laws of France and UK. The trip is scheduled from Monday and will only be delayed by the weather.

If anyone out there has any final words of advice around planning / things to take ( i think i have everything! ) i would be very glad to hear them.. otherwise ill let you know how i get on!

Cheers

Good luck..

Laird did it on an old 12'2" wave board so you should have no trouble on a carbon Fanatic race board..

Hope you get perfect conditions for it.. Watch out for tankers.. and icebergs..
