Sometimes you just got to laugh. I ran home the other day to change boards and as I got to the sliding gate of my apartment I noticed the gate was just closing and as I forgot my key I stuck my paddle handle in front of the sensor. Totally missed and the gate crushed the shaft about 3 inches from the handle. What a dill.
Anyway I did a bit of cutting and pasting, stuck the handle back in and now it sits about 1 inch above my head. Funny thing is that it now feels like the right length for surfing and paddling. It's really comfortable, Go figure!
