Cure for a slippery Naish Grip

The deck grip on my Naish (new with grip) is slippery. I know this is common on some of the first shipment of this years boards. How did everyone else fix the problem.

Get a can of SureTred from Bunnings for about $13 and spray it over the whole grip, it makes a huge difference.

I think once it's been used a bit and copped some UV it should loose some of its slipperyness.

I've found that the pads under windsurfer foot straps become rougher and more grippy after a few months of use and sunlight.

Rougher is the key word here.....you can always roughen up the eva with sand paper

lightly rough it up with 60 grit sand paper, works very well

I usually just put wax on a slippery deck pad but you can also cut grooves into your deck pad too (pain in the ass though).
