hey fellas,

been reading this SUP forum for a couple of weeks it sounds and looks like a lot of fun i live in the spencer gulf region of south aus and that puts me a few hours away from any rideable waves.I would like to get into this but honestly want to know would the appeal of more flat water riding make me loose interest, i'd hate to spend all that money for it to just sit in the shed.

cheers

P.S are there many south aussies on this forum who ride

Hi mate,

I live in mackay and we dont have a consstent swell either. But, SUP is a great cross training and social activity, and still you can take it to the coast when you get the chance.

I ride a 11'7 Jimmy Lewis around Adelaide for crusing and riding small waves in the city and I just brought a 10' Jimmy Lewis for surfing down the south coast. I use a C4 paddle.
