Picked up my new DC8-11 yesterday.....this is the first of the Ron House- Dale Chapman San Clemente model , the board was shaped off a Ron house 8-8 fish and stretched to 8-11 x 28.5 x 4-1/4 with a few minor changes by Dale to make it in my opinion the Stand Up Board of the year .It floats me well at 90kg with great stability and with it's soft rocker it's exceptional at paddling out through the surf .The board is extremely fast and draws really nice smooth lines ,comes the top with ease , always under your feet.... I just love it...the best board I have ever ridden

The deck grip fish represents the Ron House fish design and the ribs of the fish are outlines of all my different fins showing the fusion of the Aussie and American design to make this great board.

At the same price as an import I can't see any reason for anybody to buy an imported board , when we have a guy like Dale making these great boards....yeah and it's really light.

Hey Piros, the new board looks great, like the outline.
I to have a DC sup board of the year coming in the next week or so,
by the look of the red thumbs there may be a few that disagree, can't understand why,
Cheers,
Camo.

Camo the board just rips , people get on here and rave about imports and it all gets lapped up , I can't understand the red thumbs , if you put one up tell me why , I'm just stoked about my new board.

Is it because of my black male model.

Great looking board Piros and another top effort on the grip. Do you know if Dale is making that shape in other (bigger) sizes?

Thomo my mate rode it today he is 95kg he was a bit heavy for it but still loved it and ordered a 9-1 x 28.5 x 4-1/2 (slightly thicker) of the same shape with a 5 fin system, Dale will basically make what you want.

Don't be phased by the narrow measurements it floats and paddles unreal , yes it's an advanced board and not an all rounder but if you want something thats going to stick in the pocket and hold on through those big turns this is your board.[}:)]

Very nice looking board Piros.

Do you use same size fins front and back when you surf or was that just for the photo?

Hey Piros AKA "Master Of The Grip",

I have had my Kids on the DC 9.4 34 - 46kg and they rip, I have had Guys from 65 - 105kg and they Rip. Woman in the 45 -65kg love the board as they can carry it easily and throw it around.

Every one that has tried the DC 9.4 has been blown away. I am lucky I still have the Demo 9.4 in Melb. The speed these boards generate is rediculous and they live on the rail.

If anyone wants to try try the 9.4 in melb after the session, you will put your red thumbs back in your pockets to get some cash to Dale. Ask Camo what he thought.

Great looking shape Piros, how many rums went into the deck grip. Ask wazza why he has to mow my lawn for the next 6 months. Good to finally see magnum.

Great looking board. The model's not bad either. Looks a bit like me ... only browner ... and leaner ... and fitter ... and younger ... and with muscles ...

Very nice 8'11 Piros ,

Rode Phill's 9'4" Dale Chapman (demo).... that board goes insane , heaps of speed and control.

Any photo's of the 8'11 on the waves..?

Thanks for the replies , I really am struggling for new deck grip ideas ,this one was alot harder because it was done from all small pieces of scrap. My boat couldn't escape my designs either on the sides and radar dome

The fins I just threw in (didn't finish the deck grip until 2am) they are different sizes but the backs are sides not centres not like I normally run , I'll try a couple more combos on the weekend but this set feels good.

I will get some pics this weekend of the board in action.

Piros.
