Amadee Island (their starting point) is the local day trip island off the coast from Noumea.
Possibly about the same distance as Rotto is from Perth.
Looks like the've d/winded to the outer atoll/reef which surrounds the whole New Cal. islands.
Did a yacht charter for our honeymoon umpteen years ago.
Very French, very laid back..."here is your boat, see you in a week..." Far different to the regimentation of the Whitsundays.
Blows like stink out there most of the time - s/east trade winds.
Would be a great d/winding place DJ, and it's not that far away...

amedee light house is close to the pass in our reef (surrounds whole island) and "ever" is the "ever prosperity" ship wreck on the reef a few km downwind fro the light house.

Located in New Caledonia (one of the riders you see is Titouan Puyo world champion)
