Hey Guys,

Dale Chapman is going to be down in Vicco OG / Torquay Area on the 12th Sep.

He will be on business and will have 3 x Long Distance Down Wind Boards 12 14 16 and 3 x Surf Sups with him 8'8 8'10 9'3 (this is not a demo day) but if you ask nicely Dale might let you take one for a splash its his call.

If you are interested in seeing his boards let me know.

I will also have one of his 9'3 customs for about 5 weeks, your welcome to try that too if you like.

sealed 2/3 phycho is what I use, people tell me it was named after me.

If you freeze solid I will have a stoked up wood fire to thaw you guys out.

Sam from Kialo survived, well almost, so you guys will be fine!

That's great Phill,I'm keen to check out some DC boards,
Lacey the water temp is around 12 degrees at the moment,I wouldn't go in without my 4/3 but then I feel the cold more than others,maybe bring a couple of wetsuits to put on together,

oh no, i struggle at the goldie when the water ever get under 18 and that hasn,t happen for a couple of years. problem is my feet go to wood. looks like i'll have to take concrete pills

Lacey the beach is only 400m as the crow flys from my front door, and the river is 5 mins drive.

You will survive.

I just rang the local ambos they say it will take at least 7 mins for Hypothermia to set in

Sounds like a good day. Interested to see the boards.

I rekon a 3/2 is fine with booties.

Cammo, you trying to scarte people? THe ocean is still 13.2 degrees.
The bay on the other hand is only 11 degrees. I found that out today just once during
a downwinder. I was back on my board that fast it would have looked like I was walking
on water!

I think you will find the coldest water is Discovery Bay Portland, it has some crazy thing called the Bonny Upwelling

I dont wear slippers or hoodie, last time I was out I was getting cramps in my feet , I might have to invest in a pair.

Hi All,

I would like to remind everyone Dale is here on Bunisess and has some boards with him.

This is not a commercial demo day like OG13, Dale wants to show interested people his boards and if he agrees and it is his call not mine you will be able to trial them

If you wish to come we are just going to have a BBQ and catchup for those that wish too.

Hey Phill,
is the 9'3" you mentioned the fish shape sup board Dale has on his website?

and no need to be concerned with the temperature you guys in Queensland as it was a balmy 19 today and forecast 20 for tomorrow so things on the up and up down here in Vicco.
