A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to be 'given' a free sup - 9'ish x 30" when I was picking up a s/h paddle that I bought through buy'n'sell. I was talking to the guy about how I'd like my kids to get into it & he goes, "do you want a free board, I've got a few that I made and I'm just taking them to the tip".

Ended up with a good-looking homemade sup - quad (no fins, but new inserts), with a near-new deck pad & handle insewrt...and the kids love it! Cut down an alum paddle & reshaped it to suit my little ones. It used to be "I'm going to the beach, c'mon guys" - now all I hear is "when are we going for a sup dad".

Stoked with it! I'm sure you'll find one somewhere.

sups hold their value, they dont loose half their value as soon as they leave the showroom

how come a new windsurfer cost 2800 when a new surf sup is usually around the 1500 mark

sups are nearly double the size, similar building materials, cost heaps more to ship etc...

are windsuferes being blindfolded, bent over and FLEECED ?

p.s better hurry and get one soon mark, your local is getting like trigg point at the weekends now

Can do a 10' x ~29" that just needs a patch on the tail deck, otherwise in good nick for $300.00
