That's a real bugger!

A couple of weekends ago I gave my knee a good tweek as I tried not to fall while paddling for a wave..I fell in and knew I had done some damage.

It felt bad all session and when I came in I had a big egg size lump on the inside of my knee from swelling..I put a compression bandage on it.

The next couple of days it got worse and then by the end of the week it started to come good as long as the compression bandage was on.

It's feeling better now and the bandage is off but it's a long way from 100%..I'm hoping it will come good..It doesn't stop me SUP'ing (on flat water).

I had an ultra sound done on saturday to check for a clot because of swelling in my leg...It's ok.

I'm just wondering if yours is the same and maybe in a week or so it might come good for you..I hope so..Fingers crossed for a good mri result.

I had 2 big cartilage tears removed from me left knee before Easter from SUP.

Had the operation and was back SUP in 3/4 weeks.The hardest part was watching from the beach!!

Remember these are big boards,and take a bit of strength to turn them hard.They can punish the body at times
