PS the waves do look smaller then reality especially when there were a few over head height ones coming through.

Great video DJ! I agree - the waves were bigger than they looked in the video. I made a video of the same session, but again the waves looked a bit small. Here is the version with a few of my waves but a few waves with the other guys who were there - including DJ (music selected based on DJ's movie):

Nice video, great stuff. If only your batteries didn't die on you.

Thanks.. Great sound track.. .. Let's hope we get a big day soon so it doesn't look like it's always a knee high wave..

Nice "mouth-cam" cantSUPenough.
Dunno how you managed to keep it in your mouth the whole time without losing it though!

Thanks! I must admit, the first time I used it I thought it would fall out, or that when I took a tumble I would have trouble keeping water out of my mouth - but it has not been an issue. I have used it a few times how, even in some bigger waves. The thing in your mouth molds to your teeth so I have never felt like it might slip out.

This is the one I use:

http://www.prostandard.com/Pro-Standard-Grill-Mount-p/gm-surf.htm

And as they say on their site, you can clamp it to your wet suit when you are not about to use it. In fact, when the batteries ran out the other day and some good waves came through I left it clamped to the neck of my wet suit and it stayed put.

Might as well chuck my early morning vid in the mix as well.......small glassy waves at town beach sunday morning.
My first vid attempt (not sophisticated enough to get music on vid yet )

Sure looked like nice conditions!

I tried attaching my Go Pro to my paddle once. I thought it was secure. I got smashed by a wave and never saw the Go Pro again...
