Supped today and somehow managed to tear the deck grip on my newish 8'10" starby. What should I use to glue it down.

Cheers in advance

Contact adhesive! Follow the instructions on the package.

Selleys make a good contact adhesive (available from any Bunnings). Just re-stuck one of mine over the weekend, seems solid as now.

3M 77 contact adhesive spray. Google a supplier. It's good because it's compatible with the existing 3M adhesive on the back of the deck pad.

For the glue, use the new "MS Polymer" ones. They are very strong, stay flexible, and humidity helps their curing... The ideal glue for pads.

I use the UHU Max Repair (one of the quickest to cure and stronger in tests), but most brands have now these kind of glue.

See the list of brands at the end of: translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wikidorf.de%2Freintechnisch%2FInhalt%2FMSPolymerKlebstoffe&sandbox=1
