Surfed on a longboard at Ocean Beach a few years back, & would love to try out the 9'8" sup there. Dunnie said he had it pretty good on a sup 2-3 months ago (I think). Give him a call. (Funs Back Surf, Cott)

Ocean Beach is at the entrance to Wilson Inlet. Its protected from SW swells and is usually quite small. It does need a large SW to SE swell to fulfill its potential. Best when the Wilson Inlet is open to the sea. It gets long right hand barrels but usually only has small beach breaks in the western corner of the bay which is Ratcliff Bay.
The other break is Anvils to the east of Ocean Beach. Left and right peaks in N to NE winds and S to SE swell on higher tides. Breaks on shifting sandbars. Look out for goat boaters

Had a ball at Grabbers; a 10 yr old kid on a boogie board came out stoked with the session "did yoyu see that, did you see that! I got a barrel! the positive energy was fantastic. Knee high best ever sess! I had a smile from ear to ear being with him and I could not go in because his mum said he cannot surf alone.
