Hi just wondering what fins people are using on there raceboards other than standard ones ? Do they make much difference to a intermediate paddler or is it not that noticeable? . My board is 14 x 28 naish javelin 2015 and pretty stable so a small loss of stability would not be a major thing just looking for help with speed Cheers
I changed my axe type fin on my 12.6 to a 10" McTavish longboard fin for use in the surf. The axe tracked straight better but overall in the surf I found more control with the Mct fin.
