No footage but Scotty from Wetspot enjoyed a 6 ft day on straddle on the 12-6 and said it surfed unreal. I've paddled one a bit in flat water and I am, well let's say at times over 100 kegs heaps of float and stupidly stable.

Have not surfed one but paddling it felt really slow. Or was that me? Probably

I would suggest they are a little slower than the hobie but I would still rate it as quick. I figure if it gives me a decent time non keg people should be getting it well quick

I'm nowhere near 100 kgs, but I did surf the 30.5" Fanatic briefly and was amazed at how well it surfed for a large displacement hull SUP. It also did very well in the recent Australian 12-6 raceboard trial. It's gotta surely be right up the list if you are a bigger guy looking for a 12-6, especially for in and out stuff. In fact, I've thought about getting one myself for hell cross-wind/choppy days when anything longer is a chore.

i surfed the Fanatic 12'6 X 27.5 last night in port hacking.

on the good ones it was almost head height.
once i caught a few i managed to get full bottom turns and off the tops in the white water. closeouts arn't so good with no rocker.

fun and surprisingly manoeuvrable.
