Do you use an ipod when SUP paddling ?
If so, what music does it for you ?
I am curious if it effects your balance.
I'm thinking about giving it a go. Saw some waterproof speakers on ebay that plug into ipod.
Dreaming about cruising in the middle of nowhere with not a sole insight blaring out a bit of Meatloaf.

I wear a waterproof H20 MP3 player under my hood or on a baseball cap and it works well. It helps me relax and I don't have to listen to the crap coming out of the mal riders mouths. I don't wear it in large surf but anything up to 3ft is fine.

Meatloaf on a SUP is banned !!

I'll throw the iPhone into a little "Glad Bag" on rare occasions, set it to "shuffle" or a "Playlist", pop it into my pocket (or upper arm sleeve pocket in the Kathmandu top).... But usually on those flat water paddles, I end up turning it off, to listen to the birds, or to get closer to a pelican and look into the pelican's eyes.... and just listen to water slide around the board when you put the power down... or listen to the little slurp and gurgle of the paddle at full power... or watch the swirly curls off the paddle... simple things for me ! Usually no music...

Yes, you can't beat the sounds of mother nature.
No, Meatloaf will never be banned.

What planet are you guys on Hunters and Collecters, TISM, Black Eyed Peas and for all you real oldies Ayers Rock. Meatloaf is alright but more generally associated with Panel van drivers. Simondo, are you "nature boy" good luck, I'll upload some recordings of ducks for you to listen to.
