I was lucky to have someone drop me off at St Kilda today and drive down to pic me up.. Bargain..

Today was one of the best down-winders that I've done.. I think it was a no pressure thing going alone..and the wind was 15-25 knots.
I am getting better on the Glide and today I got heaps of runners and did a few things differently.
I stood a little more forward than in the past.
I didn't look back like I do trying to see what's coming up from behind.
I didn't paddle as much while on a runner.. I've learned that if you are going to drop off a runner all the paddling in the world will not stop it. (so why paddle).
It's not like a wave.. the lumps seem to just come and go.
I didn't fall in for the whole down-winder (until I got into the shallows with about 20 meters to go).. That's a first for me.. I usually fall a lot..

It was hot..and the jet-ski's were buggers mucking up the regular wind swells.
Can't wait till the next one.
