Jonathan and I are doing a down-winder tomorrow (Tue 6th April) for those interested.. The conditions are looking pretty good.

We plan to head off from St Kilda about midday and go down wind to either Sandy or Rickets.

Winds: Northeasterly 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots around dawn
then tending north to northeasterly 20 to 25 knots during the morning and 20 to
30 knots during the afternoon.

Either the StKilda wind measure blew away under the heavy gust, or there's no wind at all, going by the Seabreeze weather chart today. Did you get on a downwinder?
