Looks like we've got a week of 20 - 30 knot South East winds. Normally be ideal for a paddle North from Snapper but with the big messy east swell I'm looking at other alternatives.
Has any done a paddle across Deception Bay? Looks like South East is a perfect wind direction to paddle from Scarborough to Beachmere. Only about 6 Ks or so but could be real fun!
If anyone has done it, or more importantly, if anyone wants to do it, let me know.
