try packing it with masking tape before you fit it into box.they aren't really a good fit and the construction plastic seems weak

I cut shims to fit from plastic that you get items sealed in eg powerboards, tools etc. Works great.

I had this problem on a longboard, i shaved a micro ammount off the fin and it went tight from there. Takayama boards seem to have this problem from factory.

I found the problem was the bold /screw was not holding as the fin would not sit far enough in the slot.

I had the same problem-just used some plastic off a container-can also use piece of aluminium can. Minor hassle to change fin location and type.

Time for some fin manufacturers to make some FCS matched fins in fin box format.

Need to be wary when buying fins and messing around with boxes. i came across the same problem on the week end when trying to fit a fluid foils fin into a box (on a surfboard) that had an older multi - fin in it. The fluid didn't fit. Seems not all boxes are 'pink inside' after all!

Also, I'm now also wary of those 'clip in' pop out fin systems. Bump a fin on some rocks or something and they fall out easily which is costly and bad news if you're on a remote surf trip with only 1 board and no spare fins.
