Hi All, Looking for some advice on a Family Holiday I want to plan. Has to be near the beach. Fiji, Vanuato, Bali etc. Something not to expensive. Pros and cons would be great.

Mate this place is beautiful plus he has his own sups with surf straight out front , the villagers look after your kids while you surf as well. Great accomodation at bargin prices. It used to be a backpackers until they filmed a reality TV show there and it's now more up market but prices are still cheap. Check out these rates.

I've been to Bali 5 times between 88 & 99 including G-Land in 95 before starting family. IMO Bali is'nt very kid friendly.

Just came back from Fiji where we spent 6 nights on Treasure Island & 8 nights at Shangri -La. Took my 14ft Sup over and hired a Sup for the family. Fiji is the ultimate holiday destination if you want to be on the beach and it's only a 3 & 1/2 hr flight.

Called into Port Vila, Vanuatu when I was single & 23 years old whilst cruising on the Fairstar. Bloody expensive.

Fiji gets my vote.

Sorry, we go there once a year, so something different.
