Looking for a family friendly resort with SUP waves off the resort. I have read in other posts that the Beachhouse is good but other options would be much appreciated.

cheers

Kaylan suped beachhouse reef a couple of times and its a tough little wave best on high tide with a short tidal window..its a great family place to stay with a great arvo tea &scone break, order dinner in the early after noon and a lovely meal is prepared..if you really want to surf Fiji the camps are the go..we got bored at beachouse and were catching buss to Sigatoka or Suva for something to do..ended up on Namotu which is well worth the bucks for waves case

Musket Cove is a great family resort and the closest place to the good/famous surf breaks (except Tavarua and Namtou). It is a 10 min boat ride to the surf but they run two trips per day.

Radisson is on Denarau - great spot for families but a long way from surf - need to get the boat out to the reefs to surf, can book through the hotels. Pretty much all the resorts on Denarau hire SUP's - they have the Hobie 10' - 11' boards which are ok to paddle around on but they don't let you paddle outside the bouys off the resort beach (I tried paddling outside the marked area and they came and chased me in a tinny) so gets pretty boring paddling around in circles. So, it would be a good option to take your inflatable so you can go exploring.
