I've had a few PM's since my post about hiring a Sup on my recent SUPing family holiday in Fiji. I took my 14ft Sup with me an hired an 11ft Nalu for my wife and 3 kids. The Nalu had a viewing window to see the reef.
Contact Lisa Ewings on the following website:
www.waluwatersports.com
She was a pleasure to deal with and very reliable.
I hired it for the 6 nights we spent at Treasure Island on our first leg of trip. She had the Sup sent out on the South Seas Cruise Catarmaran the arvo before. Get in early to book.
If anybody wants to hire off them in the future send me a PM 1st and I will email her in advance to await your contact. I told her I would send the Breezers her way.

Take your own paddle with you as the hire paddle is not much chop. I took the Mrs paddle as well as the kids as check in luggage. It's no hassle and you will appreciate having your own paddle when you get there.

I hired an 11ft Naish Nalu for wife and kids for 7 days for $500 Fijian ($270 Aus).

That's got to be cheaper than buying them a ticket.

I can see how it may have read now. I can tell you at times during the flight they drove me and the Mrs nuts to the point I wish I had checked them in with the luggage. Picture this: I am kicking back with the ipod listening to "Us & them" by Pink Floyd right. I am in 'the zone' of ultimate relaxation to the point of almost dozing off for some ZZZ's and then I cop an elbow to the ear and I am awoken to my 7 year old son clicking out at my 9 year old daughter cause she stole his Nintendo DS. Love it.

Thanks for the details Scotty, I will email Walu Water Sports now and let them know you sent us. Hope to score Cloudbreak while I'm there, but maybe not on a SUP
