Got a tasty little fin chop this morning when surfing out at Noosa National Park this morning so thought i'd share...enjoy!!!

I recently told someone to take their side fins off their new 10'6" and reduce the chance of a fin cut by two thirds.

That looks nasty..

Everyone get out there and sand the sharp edges off your fins.

That sort of thing is the reason I have stayed away from the Noosa Points for the last couple of weeks. good waves but not worth the hassle and crowds. Sorry to hear about your injury. Hope you heal well and fast.

I've been using an 8ft Da kine and have never had any issues with mine. I found the longer leg ropes were the more they dragged you, especially on bigger days. I'm not into tow ins over the falls by my own board!!!. I've even used my son's 6 footer when necessary as it's mostly about potental victims behind you in IMHO. I don't think anything will prevent a fin chop if 'Huey' really wants a flesh sacrifice.
