Hey Guys
What are you all using as a finish coat for epoxy??
I have done a few different things but have found that a sanded gloss coat seems to turn out the best. For me anyway.
I came across a can of clear urethane spray at the auto supply store.
Its used to put a clear coating over mag wheel
Has anyone gone down that road and what were the results??

Howdy Matt,
My first board was finished with auto gloss. Worked fine. The other alternative is using a polyester gloss coat. Some epoxy resins are manufactured specifically for surfboards, very clear and polyester gloss coat will bond to it fine. Have used this on boards 2 and 3.
