Make sure you get there at 7:30am to sign-up and/or register. Cut-off for the surfing heats is at 8:00am sharp. The sleepy heads who miss this cut off can still go in the 3km race and/or the freestyle expression session.

Mate Ill be there all buzzed up on cans of Mother and red bull after coming off a night shift. So if im walking around twitching and stuff and talking really fast, it aint a normal thing hahahah.

See you on Wednesday when I have my new 8'6. Tully reckons it looks insane. It gets into Syd around 10am. Ill come up and grab it and ill call you for a surf check. Then head over the bridge. Your right though Wed does not look good for waves.

Brownwater was excellent on Saturday, when were you out?

I was out around 7:30 - 8 am. Saw a few guys come around the headland and get a few meaty ones at WhiteRock. They paddled past me, got a couple at Brownwater, up to the pool and back.

Bit of cross chop, wind was already up and the sun straight into your eyes made it pretty hard for second ever surf on a SUP. Kept trying to snag some of the smaller ones, which never did quite break, then would turn around to cop a set on the head!

"Fark this is hard" was all I kept thinking. Made up for it though next morning at Collaroy, good little bank in front of the Flight Deck - wave pool like conditions. Was perfect for a total kook! Actually managed to get on the rail in the pocket, and pump a couple of sections. Felt the effect of the paddle on the wave too. Stoked! Great fun in under 2 foot!

Just got back from a fun little session on the Longy "Club Bank". It's predicted to be a similar size on Sunday but with nicer weather than today. Can't wait.
