Gday All,

Had my first paddle in the surf this morning after a couple of months of flat water paddling an old wally and the occasional borrowed board. Side shore choppy waste high conditions, spent more time in the water than on the board but ended up getting three waves for being in the water for bout half an hour. So "F"ing hard but super fun once on the waves, making it through sections that I wouldnt normally on a surfboard and the speed you could get on these choppy little waste high lumps was amazing.

Looks like the credit card will get a flogging earlier than I thought.

Cheers
Rev.

Well Done Revvin ,

The first surf is always the hardest , each time should start to feel more stable / confident ....try and head out again soon.

Where did you head out ? , I saw three guy's out at Torquay Pt early today ?

There is going to be a new swell hitting Saturday arvo along our coast !

Cheers thanks Rich,

Just paddled at Ocean Grovel,

Will try and get in after work tonight too while I've still got this board on loan.
