Ventured out onto Penguin reef for my 1st go on the SUP this morning . Nice little 2-3 foot chop . Thought it would be a piece of piss jumping off the longboard onto the SUP . How wrong was I

Ended up in the drink 3 times trying to get off the beach after overbalancing .Had a mate come down to check out the SUP standing on the beach laughing at me thinking it was hilarious We don't get that many SUPs out this way .Probably did look pretty funny

Anyway after about half an hour had the hang of it . Paddled across the reef then back to catch a wave in . Feeling a bit cocky now caught a nice little wave and did the biggest nose dive and over into the water again .Hhahaha .

Besides all the falls still loved the experience and will be back out again pretty soon , probably this afternoon , unless the surf comes up then it will be back to the longboard .
THanks tassiesup for the tips they were very useful . Especially the tip about sticking the paddle in the water to stay upright when getting the wobbles
